Indispensable
West of Ireland Walks and Corcorans two others written for the OBrien series (for Cork and Kerry) are simply the best walking guides of my experience. Route descriptions are accurate and really do keep the walker on the right track, sadly not a common feature among walking books. The routes chosen for description, among the great many possible in the west of Ireland, are good ones, honestly rated for difficulty. Walkers of any experience will not be misled by this guide. But the real pleasures of the Corcorans are their observant and loving descriptions of the natural world through which the walker makes his or her way. Corcoran is a naturalist by training and profession, and his book spills over with delightful natural observation. Having the book along is almost like having a patient, genial, and most learned guide along for the walk. The prose is warm and fresh, and the many drawings and illustrations, Corcorans own, are alone worth the price of the book. Perhaps best of all is the deep love of precariously fragile nature Corcoran evinces. The ecology of the west of Ireland, like the rest of the country and the rural reaches of the UK, is under enormous pressure, and its rare beauties are passing away before our eyes. Corcoran turns our regard to them while they are still there to see. Buy a Corcoran and take a walk.

If you want to know about AC read it here
I purchased this book and read cover to cover. The only draw back I found was that all the units of measurement were for US and not Europe.

I also own the study guide that goes with this book, worth while purchase if you are studying for exams.

Excellent read.

This is a must have for anyone considering work in HVAC.
I bought this book in DEC.1999 and found it would be a must have for the beginner or one in the HVAC field for a long time.

The chapters are well put together, and could be used in classroom or used as a self-taught guide

Who ever goes through this book will not be disappointed. Many diagrams to guide you.
